- Administer a variety of databases (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, KDB+).
- Oversee in-house SAP Basis for SAP and HR Portal systems.
- Ensure systems comply with audit standards for SAP, HR Portal, Database, and OS.
- Create technical proposals based on project requirements.
- Conduct proof of concept and evaluate solutions.
- Configure databases to support various applications/projects.
- Develop scripts for monitoring and performance tuning.
- Provide maintenance support including backups, patches, and troubleshooting.
- Perform system migrations, upgrades, and integration with other systems.
- Ensure database server security to meet IT compliance standards.
- Plan database capacity for business growth.
- Support regular Disaster Recovery exercises and update DR documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in SAP Basis, Portal, and Oracle Database administration.
- Experience with database administration in Unix and Windows environments.
- Certified Informix DBA or MS SQL DBA preferred.
- Certification in other OLTP & OLAP databases is an advantage.
- SAP Basis Certification is a plus.
