- Manage MidRange servers (Linux/Unix) and storage systems.
- Suppor daily operations of Linux/Unix systems and storage (SAN, NAS, Unified storages).
- Provide technical support for internal IT and customer projects.
- Conduct proof of concept and evaluate solutions.
- Ensure server security to meet IT compliance standards.
- Plan system capacity to support business growth.
- Maintain high uptime for MidRange system & SAN storage.
- Manage system backups and restores using Commvault software.
- Develop Unix/Linux administration scripts.
- Provide maintenance support including backups, patches, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Perform system migrations, upgrades, and integration.
- Support regular Disaster Recovery exercises and update documentation.
- Manage HDS, DELL, HPE SAN storage operations.
- Oversee daily operations of Data Center and DR Data Center.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent with minimum of 3 years experience supporting UNIX systems.
- RedHat system administration certification preferred.
- Certification in other Unix/Linux operating systems is an advantage.
- Experience with production-grade Linux OS administration (Red Hat, Suse, Debian) preferred.
- Experience with storage configuration for HDS, DELL, HPE storage models.
- Experience in configuring interoperability between Unix/Linux and Windows (e.g.,SAMBA).
- Experience in the semiconductor industry (IT support) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Perl or Unix shell script programming.
- Knowledge of HP/Dell/IBM server and storage systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Willing to work on weekends occasionally.
- Participate in on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance.
