We are seeking a system engineer for our client.
Responsibilities
· Provide on-site end-to-end Integrated Systems Management Service support
· Manage various stakeholders in the Authority’s appointed meetings
· Manage and ensure that the system(s) meet the corresponding system categories of KPI or SLA
· Ensure adequate governance (i.e. system and process controls) are in place to maintain oversight of compliance status and ensure the Systems adhere to applicable standards, policies, directives and guidelines
· Responsible for compliance declaration. Prepare and support independent audit exercise
· Work with Authority to review policy change
· Prepare and maintain Project Security Management Plan. Conduct security review, constantly track, mitigate and patch security vulnerabilities to eliminate or minimise risk exposure and improve the cyber resiliency of the Systems
· Ensure asset inventory (comprising hardware, software, network equipment, etc.) are maintained and updated regularly for the Systems
· Investigate and resolve issues pertaining to Systems or backbone infrastructure
· Support the Integrated Logistics Support such as publication management, spare review management and competency management
· Maintain oversight and review the Obsolescence Management plan for all Systems
· Drive digital transformation in areas of Operational efficiency, Governance & Compliance and Cyber Security
· Improve customer experience and ensure good customer satisfaction survey outcomes
· Manage Tech Refresh for Systems
Responsibilities
· Degree in IT or a related subject with at least 5 years of working experience in managing IT infrastructure projects in diverse, complex, large-scale environments
· Good technical knowledge in system / network diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in
- Windows Server OS, Linux OS in a virtual environment
- Virtualisation and Hypervisors including Nutanix
- VPN, firewall appliances
- Load balancers, network switches/routers
- Network Monitoring (e.g. Solarwinds products)
- Data Protection (e.g. Veritas)
- Vulnerability Assessment (e.g. Nessus)
- Identify and Access Management (e.g. CyberArk)
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong customer service orientation with exceptional customer-facing skills
- Strong vendor management skills with experience in dealing with third-party-provided services, vendors, OEM and principals
- Good communication and writing skills
- Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
