Job Requiremetns:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing or maritime studies is often preferred.
- Prefer shipping business certificate in Singapore
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
- Previous managerial or supervisory experience preferred for an assistant manager role. Proven track record in sales and business development.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in creating and implementing sales strategies.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Experience in setting sales targets and performance evaluations.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills and ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Willingness to adapt to the dynamic and demanding nature of the marine industry.
- Required to make business trips to developing countries and work in high stress sales environment and multitasking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Capacity to identify and solve issues related to sales and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge and understanding of the overseas markets, trading skills required. Experienced in preparation and execution of sales projects.
- Able to work irregular hours.
Job Description:
- Handling Import and Export Regulations for Ship Machinery and Spare Parts.
- Service Arrangement for Ship Machinery Repair.
- Newbuilding sales support for diesel engines, dual fuel engines, propellers, thrusters, ballast water treatment, boiler, etc.
- To promote the sales plan with his/her sales manager with overseas branch managers and colleagues.
- Learn and experience the business practices and company culture at the Singapore HQ, facilitating communication of company culture between HQ and overseas branches.
- Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by the department manager.
