Contract Manufacturing Planner (Capacity/Material, Semicon)

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a global provider of high-performance equipment for the semiconductor and electronics industries, and we are seeking a Contract Manufacturing Planner to join the business! The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing contract manufacturing operations, planning, and capacity management in regions outside the main markets. This includes managing relationships with contract manufacturers, and ensuring they meet the company's standards and requirements to ensure operations are optimized.

• Work Location: North region
• Work Hours: 8:30am - 6pm OR 9am - 6:30pm
• Salary up to $6,000/month + AWS + VB

The Job:

• Develop and communicate product shipment commitments with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), coordinate resources, and contribute to new supply chain planning procedures.
• Negotiate strategic vendor contracts for long-term partnerships, focusing on capacity, pricing, and inventory.
• Collaborate with S&OP teams and CMs to align production schedules with inventory, lead-time, and delivery requirements, and address capacity or supply risks.
• Monitor and ensure KPIs are met, review delivery performance, and take corrective actions as needed, focusing on delivery, cost, and inventory management.
• Analyze data to track production costs, delivery lead times, and inventory for accurate forecasting and resource planning.
• Implement a clear change management process for production orders, ensuring correct parts procurement.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage plant load, allocate resources, and address critical risks and bottlenecks.
• Stay updated on industry and policy changes, communicate with CMs on order releases, and monitor deliveries.
• Participate in annual business planning and provide monthly spending estimates.

The Talent:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or any related fields.
• Minimally 4 years of experience in business and manufacturing planning (operations, planning, delivery) function.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with various levels of stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with proven ability to make variance reports for stock, delivery, and planning against budgeted figures.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Power BI and SAP system.
