Associate Director - Product Management, Governance & Reporting

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Lead in Technology Product Management, focusing on Governance and Reporting. This role will be responsible for overseeing the governance framework and reporting processes for our technology products, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, compliance with regulations, and effective communication across stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of product management principles and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement governance frameworks for technology product management, including policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

• Lead the design and implementation of reporting processes and metrics to track the performance and health of technology products, providing insights to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data analysts, to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting mechanisms.

• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of technology products to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.

• Provide leadership and guidance to product management teams on governance best practices, driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Serve as a liaison between product management, executive leadership, and other stakeholders, communicating effectively to ensure transparency and alignment.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to product management and governance, incorporating relevant insights into processes and strategies.

Experience and Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

• Proven experience (10+ years) in technology or business product management, with a focus on governance, compliance, and reporting.

• Strong understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive results in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, cybersecurity, management consultancy) is a plus.

• Certification in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing Certified) is desirable.
