As a Medical Translator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Escort and assist patients with limited English proficiency in Bengali and Hindi, handling all logistical arrangements including inquiries, medical appointments, admissions/evacuations, entry visas/visa extensions, accommodation, ambulance, and limousine services.
- Multilingual interpretation during consultations for patients with limited English proficiency (Bengali and Hindi)
- Assist with arrangement of accommodation in Singapore during the medical treatment period
- Organise sightseeing in Singapore for patients and accompanying personnel
- Support in the doctor’s referrals and medical appointment arrangements
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the manager or division head
Requirements
- Possess a min in Diploma or equivalent
- Translator for Bengali and Hindi patients. Possess knowledge of foreign language (Bengali and Hindi language) is a must.
