We are an eatery that provide live music. We play Tamil Pop music. There may also be Tamil cultural performance or theme night that DJ will need to support with some suitable music
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Experience being a DJ at the pub
- Knowledge about sound systems
- Vocally energetic, outgoing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in fast-paced environments
- Thorough knowledge of genres of music especially Tamil
- Play and mix records to create atmosphere or keep guests entertained
- Choose music to suit your audience’s taste and the venue’s music policy
- Create your sounds by manipulating beats, using samples, adding extra music and sound effects
- Daily performance get ready to start performing music from 9 pm to 3 am.
- Choose the music to be played
- Keep up an entertaining and natural flow of chat
- Keep to a very tight timing schedule.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of modern music trends.
- Good presenting skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to empathise with listeners.
