Job Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for new applications or enhancements to existing applications.
- Use programming languages and development tools as required by the project (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design application architecture and create technical documentation to support the development process.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the application.
- Debug and resolve issues identified during testing or reported by users.
- Deploy applications to production and non-production environments.
- Monitor application performance and address any issues that arise.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas can be an advantage.
- Proven experience as an Application Developer or in a similar role.
- Experience with various programming languages and development frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., IDEs, build tools).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
