Currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 4 Driver. Responsible for transporting wood and timber materials to various locations, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. The driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading materials, maintaining the vehicle, and complying with all traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to safely operate a Class 4 vehicle to transport wood and timber to designated locations.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of wood and timber, ensuring the safe handling of materials.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, other road users, and the materials being transported.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, locations, and any issues encountered.
- Interact professionally with clients, addressing any questions or concerns related to deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a Class 4 Driver, preferably in the transportation of wood and timber or similar materials.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for transporting heavy materials.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
