- Ensure machines are in working order.
- Being proactive and ensuring that efficient and prompt support services are provided so that surgery can be performed smoothly and to the satisfaction of the surgeons and patients.
- Display consistent service behaviour standards to achieve positive patient response and maintain productive positive working relationship among colleagues.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources and significant productivity in processes accomplished.
- Comply with established standard procedure when preparing the OT and equipment for surgery e.g. patient data is entered accurately; machines are calibrated; to enable the doctor to perform surgery smoothly.
- Equipment and OT facility are checked and maintained in accordance to established standard machine manual instructions e.g. OT temperature and humidity levels, machine calibration and preventive maintenance schedule.
- Maintain operational readiness in the OT.
- Keep rooms and environment clean and tidy.
Requirements:
- GCE A Level / Diploma in any science or healthcare related field
- Keen to work in healthcare
