Roles and Responsibilities:
- Exhibit exceptional creativity and innovative thinking to produce high-quality design and technical work, inspiring the team.
- Manage the entire design process, from initial sketches to the commencement of production.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the design process and project objectives, coordinating the preparation of project deliverables and related activities.
- Apply expertise throughout all phases of Interior Design projects, from Concept Design to Construction Administration, ensuring successful implementation of design concepts.
- Work independently or with minimal supervision on various tasks, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation.
- Foster a creative mindset and continually push the boundaries of design.
- Actively participate in internal and consultant meetings.
- Exhibit excellent time management, communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines while working independently.
- Promote a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and the sharing of best practices.
- Lead team efforts, delegating tasks to enable team members to work autonomously.
- Build professional relationships within the organization and seek leadership opportunities by guiding and supporting junior team members.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and consultants.
- Assist senior colleagues in client presentations and contribute meaningfully during project meetings and client interactions.
- Take responsibility for project budgeting and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Gain a working understanding of cost control, fee management, and project finance, exploring methods to maximize project fees while maintaining client relationships and future work opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant design field or equivalent certification, with professional registration preferred.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- At least 10 years of experience working on large-scale, mixed-use projects.
- Demonstrated passion for architecture and design, with a commitment to reliability and teamwork.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications, with expertise in Revit essential.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional design talent, creativity, and innovative thinking.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects through all phases, especially within the APAC region.
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills, with a history of successful project and team management.
- Leadership abilities and a desire to mentor junior staff.
- Excellent time management, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to coordinate and integrate the work of external contractors, suppliers, and professionals.
