This is a unique position for someone who has solid exposure to steel fabrication. you will be responsible for the day to day running of the workshop
- Organise workshop labour utilising computerised labour log to suit project requirements
- Quality control on manufactured items
- Organisation of general stores and materials including placing purchase orders
- Ensure workshop team fill in the relevant paperwork associated to each project
- Ensure workshop and yard are kept tidy
- Liaise with HVAC team regarding workload and programme
- Ensure all plant is maintained correctly and at the correct intervals
- Complete take off's for workshop production
- Liaise with project managers regarding delivery of manufactured items to site
- Manufacture ductwork
- Carry out costing and analysis
- Assist to prepare Job progress report
- Candidate must possess Steel Structures and/or related experience.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned related to project.
