Are you a skilled maintenance technician looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a leading chemical manufacturing company? We are assisting our client to seek for a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team and contribute to the smooth operation of chemical plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Repairs: Utilize your technical skills to repair and maintain site assets, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Troubleshooting: Service and inspect electrical and instrument equipment, addressing faults and breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Optimization: Apply your problem-solving skills to optimize manufacturing equipment availability.
- Collaboration: Participate in site meetings, risk assessment studies, and review meetings, and coach less experienced employees and contractors.
- Safety & Reporting: Plan and execute daily maintenance and small projects safely, conduct job risk assessments, generate and manage repair work reports, and close SAP work orders as assigned.
Requirements:
- Higher NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical related field.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience within the chemical industry.
- Experience in instrumentation maintenance and operating hazardous plants.
- Ability to handle contractors/vendors and attend urgent calls.
