Role Overview
As an HR Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing our human resources functions. You will be responsible for conducting payroll, applying for grants, managing employee welfare, and creating incentive systems. Additionally, you will handle various HR tasks to ensure a smooth and compliant HR operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Payroll: Process and manage payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary distribution. Handle deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related queries
- Apply for Grants: Research and apply for relevant grants to support employee development programs and other HR initiatives.
- Manage Employee Welfare: Develop and implement programs to support employee well-being, including health and wellness initiatives, work-life balance programs, and conflict resolution
- Create Incentive Systems: Design and manage incentive programs that recognize and reward employee performance, including bonuses, awards, and recognition programs
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire onboarding processes
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, providing guidance and resolving conflicts as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Training and Development: Organize training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- HR Policies and Procedures: Develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans
Qualifications:
- Experience as an HR Specialist or similar role
- Familiarity with payroll systems and employee management software is a plus
- Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
