DIRECTOR

Job Summary:The Director will provide strategic leadership and oversee the overall operations of the Food & Beverage (F&B) company. This role involves setting business objectives, managing senior management teams, ensuring financial health, and driving growth and innovation. The Director will align all departments to achieve the company’s vision and mission, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to achieve business goals.
    Set performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all departments.
    Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness.
    Lead expansion and diversification initiatives to grow the business.
  2. Operational Oversight:Oversee daily operations and ensure they align with company objectives.
    Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
    Optimize the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
  3. Financial Management:Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and performance reports.
    Analyze financial statements to identify areas for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
    Ensure robust financial controls and risk management practices are in place.
    Develop strategies to increase revenue and control costs.
  4. Team Leadership and Development:Recruit, mentor, and manage senior management and department heads.
    Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth.
    Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
    Implement training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  5. Customer and Market Focus:Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality and responding to feedback.
    Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s brand and products.
    Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
    Drive innovation in product and service offerings to meet market demands.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
    Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
    Communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on company performance and strategic initiatives.
  7. Quality and Innovation:Ensure all products and services meet the highest quality standards.
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
    Implement and oversee quality assurance programs and initiatives.
  8. Corporate Governance and Ethics:Ensure the company operates with the highest standards of corporate governance and ethics.
    Develop and enforce policies related to corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
    Handle any legal or compliance issues in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Director or in a similar senior leadership role within the F&B industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the F&B industry and market trends.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology.

Working Conditions:

  • The position may require working long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel as required to oversee multiple locations or attend industry events.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
