Financial Accouting Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee daily accounting transactions and activities.
  • Maintain and prepare full set of financial accounts regularly and manage cash and bank expense records.
  • Administrate account receivables and accounts payables.
  • Financial audit preparation and coordination the audit process.
  • Review accounting documents, vouchers, company assets, discounts, interest, cash, bank transfers in muiltiple currencies, income withholding declarations, visa fees, employee tax declarations, reimbursements, procurement, and departmental activity budgets.
  • Responsible for preparing bank reconciliation, expense reconciliation, monthly breadkdown of balance sheet items, amortization and other management reports required by management.
  • Prepares withholding tax reports and satutory forms and ensure timely and accurate submission to local tax authorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel: functions, conditional formatting, data validity, data collection, data statistics, charts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word: reporting, format adjustment, catalog creation, layout configuration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint: logical sorting, overall analysis, visual expression.
  • Knowledgeable in Singapore double accounting standards, ERP/ accounting systems, chart of accounts/ journals and capable of conducting accounting audits.
  • Participate in other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA, CA Singapore or equivalent is preferred
  • More than 2 years of hands-on experience in a professional accounting or corporate services firm preferred (undergraduate or non-undergraduate acceptable)
  • Knowledgeable in accounting principles and practice.
  • Familiar with knowledge of relevant local laws, Singapore tax regulations and financial reporting standards
  • Meticulous, independent, proactive, responsible, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin
