Our client, one of world’s largest financial services institutions is looking for:
Finance Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Daily PL report production and PL decomposition
- Provide commentary on significant PL drivers and relating it to the business strategies of the desks
- Monitoring of New Deals, Late Deals and Market Operations
- Monitoring checks for transactions done at Off Market rates and arrive at justifications/reasons for entering these transactions
- Exceptions monitoring on Reported PL vs Trader Estimates and breaches on threshold limits for unexplained PL attributions
- Reconciliation of PL between Management reporting vs General Ledger
- To assist in responding to internal and external audit requests for the desks
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Accountancy or Business or Finance is preferred.
- Knowledge of treasury products, derivatives and options is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to relate product control processes with the business strategies and activities of the desks
