JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join us as a Manager, Consulting and Legal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the consulting and legal team with day-to-day as well as project-related tasks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts, including service agreements, tender documents, licensing agreements, etc.
- Assist in managing the company’s intellectual property, such as handling trademark registrations.
- Assist to structure and implement internal legal policies and processes.
- Conduct legal research on a variety of matters, including intellectual property law, employment law, and other issues relating to the company’s operations and strategicdirections.
- Maintain and enhance a legal repository of contracts and other legal documents.
- Conduct due diligence on legal matters and potential collaborative partners andvendors.
- Provide support on any other legal matters or issues that require attention.
- Assist in the day-to-day running and efforts of the Consulting team.
- Collaborate with the Project Office and consultants to manage and facilitate thedelivery of data protection/data governance/Generative AI consultancy projects.
- Support and champion the company’s data governance and Generative AI efforts.
- Support the company’s data governance office, including planning and implementingdata governance efforts within the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in law minimally required, but law degree holders are also welcome to apply (need not be called to the Singapore bar)
- Between 3 - 5 years of experience providing legal support, with either a law firm or in an in-house capacity
- Able to review and draft contracts and manage legal-related matters independently, or with minimal supervision
- Willing to learn and pick up new skills and capabilities
- Able to adjust to a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and able to learn and use new softwareplatforms
- Capable of working independently and with cross-functional teams
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good team player, with a positive attitude and a drive to excel
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
