JOB DESCRIPTION:


We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join us as a Manager, Consulting and Legal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the consulting and legal team with day-to-day as well as project-related tasks.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts, including service agreements, tender documents, licensing agreements, etc.
  • Assist in managing the company’s intellectual property, such as handling trademark registrations.
  • Assist to structure and implement internal legal policies and processes.
  • Conduct legal research on a variety of matters, including intellectual property law, employment law, and other issues relating to the company’s operations and strategicdirections.
  • Maintain and enhance a legal repository of contracts and other legal documents.
  • Conduct due diligence on legal matters and potential collaborative partners andvendors.
  • Provide support on any other legal matters or issues that require attention.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running and efforts of the Consulting team.
  • Collaborate with the Project Office and consultants to manage and facilitate thedelivery of data protection/data governance/Generative AI consultancy projects.
  • Support and champion the company’s data governance and Generative AI efforts.
  • Support the company’s data governance office, including planning and implementingdata governance efforts within the company.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in law minimally required, but law degree holders are also welcome to apply (need not be called to the Singapore bar)
  • Between 3 - 5 years of experience providing legal support, with either a law firm or in an in-house capacity
  • Able to review and draft contracts and manage legal-related matters independently, or with minimal supervision
  • Willing to learn and pick up new skills and capabilities
  • Able to adjust to a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and able to learn and use new softwareplatforms
  • Capable of working independently and with cross-functional teams
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good team player, with a positive attitude and a drive to excel
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
