Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Officer Corporate Development to join their team. In this role, you will be crucial as the intermediary between the group companies and their owner in Japan. You will need excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.

Job Responsibilities:
Liaison Duties
- Serve as the main point of contact between the group companies and the owner in Japan.
- Ensure effective communication to align on goals, strategies, and initiatives.
- Translate and interpret communications to bridge language and cultural differences.
Corporate Development
- Assist in developing and implementing corporate strategies and initiatives.
- Help prepare and coordinate business plans, reports, and presentations.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to guide strategic decisions.
Relationship Management
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the group companies.
- Organize and participate in regular meetings, conferences, and business trips to regional offices and Japan as needed.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise between parties.
Project Coordination
- Oversee and manage special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Ensure projects are completed on time by setting priorities and deadlines.
- Provide regular updates on project progress to all relevant stakeholder.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Relations, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within a multinational organization.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese to deal with owner from Japan.
- In-depth understanding of Japanese business culture and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
