SUMMARY:
You will collaborate with Global Commodity Management team in developing & implementing commodity strategies based on existing and future spend, demand, supply challenges, and marketplace conditions, ensuring alignment with the business needs and project objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop & execute global commodity strategies aligned with company objectives for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Manager relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement processes for critical commodities.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and finance to ensure alignment on commodity strategies.
- Identidy andn mitigate supply chain risks, develop contingency plans, and implement sustainable sourcing practices.
- Lead a team of commodity specialists to drive supplier performance, cost reduction initiatives, and supply chain efficiency.
- Drive continues improvement initiatives in procerement processess, vendor selections, and supplier relationship management.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on commodity management effectiveness.
- Develop, implement and measure a Regional Business plan that fully meets the needs of our business sectors (i.e. commodity strategies, policies, procedures & system, supply base development, Regional infrastructure, price management etc.).
- Demonstrate expertise in assigned commodities and fully competent in all aspects of supply chain Management including commodities not directly assigned.
- Lead contract negotiation and overall management with supplier to ensure supplier compliance on Warranty/Quality/Inventory/Supply commitment are legally binded.
- Support to lead and strategize the Commodity organization, resource planning, training and coaching to team members.
- Conduct regular suppliers’ performance evaluations, driving continuous improvement and identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Oversee commodity inventory levels, analyse demand patterns, and implement strategies to optimize inventory management.
- Develop effective relationships with Business Unit Management to ensure that Supply Chain Management is fully involved with new business opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
- Offer new, innovative and entrepreneurial ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in class.”

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree qualification in Supply Chain Management/Business Administration/Engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant Supplier Commodity or Sourcing Management with engineering experience preferably in Semiconductor/Manufacturing/Engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of pricing models, industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge in mechanical commodities and electronic commodities.
- Excellent in multi-tasking as well as written, influencing & negotiation skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity and optimizing team work and synergy in the organisation.
- Experience in software, ERP systems.
- High level of integrity, respect for others, persistence and passion for success.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams in both bilingual.
- Ability to handle market competition and pressure, maintaining a positive attitude in high-intensity work environments.
- Resourceful and meticulous.
