Responsibilities
· Work closely with the Communications Director to develop and execute communications plans for both internal and external audiences
· Internal content creation for multiple channels to ensure employees are well informed and engaged
· Craft scripts and produce monthly management videos
· Contribute to the shaping of a positive employer brand among current and potential employees
· Engage with employees to unearth human-interest stories for internal/external publicity
· Work closely with marketing and social media agency to develop social media content consistent with company brand voice
· Post ad hoc service announcements on social media
· Draft media releases, actively pitch stories to the media and facilitate interviews
· Work with the Communications Director to manage company reputation online and in the media
· Monitor relevant trends and conversations and leverage them for positive visibility/publicity
· Manage events including launches, brand activation, public engagement
· Work with marketing and social media agency to ensure content on company website is current and accurate
· Liaise with government authority on media/communication related matters
· Support the broader work of the Communications and Customer Experience team including organising staff and community engagement events and stakeholder management
Requirements
· At least three years of experience in an internal or external communications role
· Marketing and/or journalism experience is a plus
· A knack for coming up with interesting story angles
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Competent in written and spoken Mandarin with stakeholders
· Comfortable interacting with both rank and file and management
· Ability to use design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Illustrator) is a plus
