Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and vet tender documents which include drafting contracts/specification clauses, evaluating and providing recommendations for tenders and awarding construction and procurement sub-contracts.
- Evaluate submissions and preparation on contract administration matters such as assessing contractor’s claims for variation works, extension of time, loss and expenses, final account and handling of contractual disputes.
- Assist in contractual and costing matters such main contract interim progress claims, progress report, variation order and etc..
- Ensure compliance with appropriate tending and procurement procedures
- Assist in recommending and implementing innovative solutions and best practices on procurement and contract strategy and related functions.
- Assist in project cost control and objective preparation
- Drafting of projects correspondences pertaining to site issues
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of working experience in a related field or construction background is preferred.
- Experience in Private Residential Projects, Commercial Projects, and PPVC Projects is an advantage
- Good communication and written skills in English and Mandarin
- Ability to work well in a team, independently and demonstrate initiative and commitment
