Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance:Prepare and submit GST returns, corporate tax filings, and other statutory tax requirements.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for tax planning and audits.
Handle tax-related inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.
- Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct monthly closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Prepare and present management reports, including budget vs. actual analysis.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile inter-company balances and bank statements.
Handle vendor and customer communications related to billing and payments.
- Fixed Assets Management:Maintain and update fixed asset registers.
Conduct regular asset verification and ensure proper asset tagging.
Prepare depreciation schedules and ensure accurate accounting for fixed assets.
- Payroll and Employee Benefits:Calculate and process staff salaries, bonuses, and other benefits.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and timely payment of salaries and provident fund contributions.
Handle employee queries related to payroll and benefits.
- Internal Controls and Audit:Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits, and implement audit recommendations.
- Other Duties:Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Provide financial analysis and support for business decision-making.
Handle secretarial and administrative tasks related to finance, such as document filing and correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on tax and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
