Security Operations Specialist - 12-month contract (agency's payroll) - Singapore
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Operations Specialist to manage and enhance the operational aspects of our information security program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Security Operations, Incident Management, Security Reviews, Reporting, and Training. Familiarity with a range of security technologies, including SIEM, EDR, DAM, FW, AV, Email Security, and PAM, is essential. This role is pivotal in assessing and responding to security incidents, implementing preventive measures, and educating staff on security best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Solutions Management: Administer, operate, and optimize a variety of security solutions, including SIEM, EDR, DAM, FW, AV, Email Security, and PAM.
- Incident Response: Conduct regular Security Incident Response exercises, managing all aspects of incident handling and resolution.
- Security Reviews and Audits: Perform comprehensive security reviews and audits to identify vulnerabilities and assess risk.
- Reporting: Develop and present detailed security reports to management, stakeholders, and regulators as needed.
- Control Assessment: Regularly assess and validate the functionality and effectiveness of security controls.
- Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, threats, and vulnerabilities to keep security practices and tools up to date.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure secure design and implementation of applications, network infrastructure, and information systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT domains, including Infrastructure, Network, Application, AD, Microsoft, and Cloud is advantageous.
- Security Expertise: Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and network security technologies.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Integrity: High level of personal integrity with the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
