- 5.5 days: Mon to Fri 9.30am - 6pm, Sat (WFH) 9.30am - 1pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling ocean import process (customer service/communicating with customers, required documentation, updating the system, arranging transportation, arranging for payment through payment voucher)
- Communicate with overseas agents and branches
- Arrange payments with Carrier / Co-loader upon receipt of Arrival Notices from Carriers / Co-loaders
- Registration of shipments into the forwarding system CW1 on time and accurately
- Sending Arrival Notices to customers and liaising for clearance and delivery instructions
- Arrange for insurance coverage as required by customers
- Arrange clearance document
- Liaise with hauliers and transporters for delivery arrangements
- Follow-up on the arrival of shipment and delivery process
- Liaise with customers/carriers/co-loaders if there is any discrepancy to the cargoes upon clearance
- Issue bill of lading and declare outward/transshipment permit
- Raise invoices and dispatch to customers and follow up with customers if there is any discrepancy
- File AMS & AFR for the required port
- Extract data for simple reports (Excel) if required by customers.
- Handle and manage import, export and transshipment consignments
- To co-ordinate independently with haulier, carrier and warehouse to ensure timely clearance of shipments
- Liaise with customers and warehouse for shipment planning and job executions
- Knowledgeable in import/export/transshipment procedures for ocean/air shipments
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Nitec / Diploma in Business / Supply Chain or equivalent
- Min 1 year experience is required in both air and sea shipment
