Job Requirements
Due to ongoing growth and consistent workflow, we are currently seeking a Paralegal to support our Singapore-based teams with document production, legal research and ad-hoc knowledge management tasks. The role presents a fantastic opportunity to join an international firm of industry experts, acting on behalf of a growing and diverse local and international client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research related to a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious practice areas (in particular, corporate M&A, corporate finance, corporate secretarial and employment / immigration);
- Preparing advice based on the legal research conducted; and
- Conducting large document reviews and proof reading of materials for these non-contentious practice areas.
Candidate profile
- Suitable candidates will have an undergraduate law degree or diploma
- Previous paralegal experience (desirable) with corporate and employment background
- Strong IT skills, previous use of an electronic disclosure platform would be preferable
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work with tight timelines
- Proven ability to work as part of a successful team
- Strong research and problem solving skills
- Proven initiative and ability to work independently
- Fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing and oral)
