We are seeking a compassionate individual who is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors within our community. He / She will oversee and implement active aging programs following our H.A.P.P.Y framework, fostering a supportive and connected environment for seniors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the active aging programs at the assigned centre.
- Train and supervise volunteers to support program activities.
- Facilitate community development by identifying the strengths of seniors and encouraging self-initiated support groups.
- Collaborate with community partners to address seniors’ diverse needs effectively.
- Coordinate with internal departments to plan intergenerational activities
- Coordinate events and outreach activities to engage seniors.
- Maintain accurate administrative records for reporting purposes.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree, preferably with experience in the eldercare sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and tact.
- Willing to work on the weekends when necessary.
- Physical fitness to handle logistical tasks within the centre.
- Service-oriented with proficiency in English, Mandarin, and/or dialects for effective communication with seniors and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in digital skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design tools such as Canva.
