The role
We are looking for an experienced Managing Director to control and oversee all business operations, people and ventures. As the highest-ranking manager in the organization, this role will be responsible for the overall success of the business and compliance of corporate governance and government regulation.
The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the company to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals. Very strong crisis management skills will also be essential.
The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.
Responsibilities:
• Establish company goals and objectives, both short-term and long-term.
• Develop and execute the company’s business plans and strategies
• Advise the board of directors on strategic issues.
• Present reports on the company’s business and performance to the board.
• Motivate and provide leadership to Managers and senior executives to optimize performance.
• Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and adhered at all times.
• Establish and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
• Oversee and streamline the company’s overall operations
• Key representative of the company internally and externally to strengthen its profile
• Ensure company’s profitability and growth
Requirements:
• Master’s degree
• Over 10 years of experience as Managing Director or in another senior managerial role
• Experience in establishing business goals and strategies
• Good understanding of corporate law, branding and product positioning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership qualities
• Ability to work under pressure
