Permanent employment as Deputy Senior Pastor at Reformed Evangelical Church (Singapore).
Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Degree in Master of Theology (M. Th.) from a reformed theological seminary.
Theological Position: Affirmation to Nicene Creed, Chalcedonian Creed, the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort, and the Heidelberg Catechism.
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an ordained Pastor.
Language: Fluently speak and write in Indonesian and English.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preaching and Teaching:
- Prepare and deliver sermons during worship services.
- Teach Bible studies, and other educational programs.
- Provide theological guidance and instruction to the congregation.
2. Pastoral Care:
- Offer spiritual counselling and support to individuals and families.
- Conduct weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other significant ceremonies.
3. Leadership and Administration:
- Oversee the church's administrative functions and staff.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and church initiatives.
4. Spiritual Development:
- Encourage and facilitate the spiritual growth of church members.
- Organize and lead retreats, prayer meetings, and other spiritual activities.
- Mentor and develop future church leaders and volunteers.
5. Conflict Resolution:
- Mediate and resolve conflicts within the congregation.
- Promote unity and reconciliation among church members.
- Provide guidance on ethical and moral issues.
6. Evangelism and Mission:
- Lead efforts to spread the Christian faith and attract new members.
- Support and participate in mission trips and evangelistic activities.
- Encourage the congregation to share their faith with others.
