Requirements:
- Participate in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for IT Projects and interface with various IT stakeholders
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Build the test environment for software employing QA application best practices and Test driven environment
- Identify specific cases that should be automated and discuss them with manual QA engineers.
- Develop the best automation solutions based on the requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find ways on how automation can improve the workflow.
- Responsible for creating test plans or any other QA documents in accordance with the Company's requirements.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Develop/maintain automation test scripts.
- Conduct various tests for systems, networks, applications, databases, and software.
- Write precise and high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically.
- Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
- Execute and manage automation test cases and results.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Assist in the coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in test automation, preferably UFT.
- Demonstrate applicable knowledge on SDLC, best practices and testing methodologies, and frameworks and experience
- Has prior experience and track record planning a QA test bed and succes in solutions and testing cases.
- Strong technical skills with hands on experience in programming with Java and/or VBScript.
- Excellent analytical skills to analyze and solve problems in a service-driven organization.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to effectively communicate with multiple levels within the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrate proactiveness.
