SENIOR CLIENT DIRECTOR
Is accountable for client services excellence and client satisfaction across his/her clients and oversees flawless execution and project management, team development, and growth through existing and new clients.
Functional Mastery
Project/Financial Management
- Champion best-in-class project and financial management for all projects, prospects and new business opportunities, and creating and sharing accurate financial and business development reporting documents.
- Leads a team of people, and along with that team, ensures that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on scope
- Leads client relationships with the emphasis on driving revenue growth, both from existing relationships and as a partner on new business development.
- Ensures all correspondence, materials, CEs, presentations and deliverables to clients from the team is error-free of highest quality and always relevant to the client’s business challenges
- Ensures that a regular flow of information is maintained between the client and the team, ensuring milestones are met.
- Participates in internal reviews and work sessions, evaluating the deliverables through the lenses of the client brief and expectations.
- Collaborates with teams across multiple functions to ensure that all client workstreams are appropriately resourced against the scope and budget
- Coaches and teaches project management and budget management skills to team members and holds them accountable for flawless project management for all workstreams.
- Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to achieving company and individual financial targets
People/Team
- Responsible for inspiring and motivating project teams.
- Fosters team interaction, roles of team members, and leverage/leads team members to success
- Knows when/how to escalate issues and involve top level management (CS, Creative, Production)
- Knows how to delegate work to his team, as appropriate, while maintaining control and accountability
- Provides mentoring and on-the-job training for his team. Recognizes under-performing team members and takes applicable action to help them find their way to success
- Shares accolades with the team and appropriately buffers client negativity
- Support other client services team members and other internal functions teams if/when needed

- Is comfortable interacting with clients at the highest level
- Has a deep understanding of the client’s organization and business needs and establishes himself/herself as a trusted advisor to the client
- Is the team leader on his/her clients and is accountable for the health and growth of the relationship

- Creates new business growth opportunities aligning the clients’ business challenges to Lonsdale’s capabilities
- Understands and demonstrates a commitment to carving out time for new business opportunities outside of owned client relationships

- Nurture and leads revenue growth within existing client relationships and understands how Lonsdale services and competitive advantages can open doors to new opportunities
