Accounts Executive (11 months contract, up to $23 per hour)
Mon - Thu: 8.30am - 6pm/ Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Location: Orchard
Job Description
- Perform finance and accounting functions, including but not restricted to accounting for daily revenue collection, accounts receivable, accounts payable, month and year-end closing and fixed assets
- Work closely with departments on debt arrears management, perform and manage debt recovery actions
- Liaise with departments and ministries/agencies on returns and submissions
- Provide advice and support on financial matters
- Prepare audit schedules for statutory and other audits
- Attend to requests or enquiries from external and internal customers
- Handle any other matters as assigned
Requirement
- A Degree in Accountancy or related discipline or Diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Organised, meticulous and able to multi-task
- Independent, resourceful and self-motivated
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time
