Job Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Support the department in strengthening and improving the total rewards framework and its governance structure.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in total rewards policies and processes.
- Keep up with industry trends and benchmarks, and actively engage in salary scale reviews.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Operations
- Manage talent recruitment and selection; providing professional advice and guidance on HR practices, policies and procedures and employment law/legislations to hiring managers, and organising outreach for talent acquisition.
- Manage the employee life-cycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations issues and offboarding.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement initiatives.
- Identify learning needs and opportunities for professional development, collaborating with internal and external resources to address them.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements.
Job Specifications
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma/Degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Management
- 1-3 years of HR experience in general HRM preferred
- Payroll experience will be an added advantage
Additional Skills and Knowledge
- Good presentation and report writing skills
- Excellent with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint)
- Good knowledge and understanding of the local labour market and statutory laws
- Familiar with HRIS application
