Role Overview:
The ideal candidate can effectively work both collaboratively and independently, manage fast-paced deadlines while incorporating client and city feedback, and produce high-quality design and production drawings. We are seeking a highly motivated, conscientious and detail-oriented person with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the design documentation of architectural and interior architectural design projects, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget, and timeline from conceptualisation to preparing detailed documentation for construction procurement.
- At times, be required to supervise the creation of detailed documentation, building information modelling (BIM) 3D models, renderings and design documents for construction.
- Monitor the authorship of the design during implementation to ensure design integrity
- Conduct site visits and project meetings to resolve design-related issues.
- Be willing to mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative culture and innovative team environment
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients, effectively communicating the vision and practical aspects of projects.
- Stay updated with the latest architectural trends and technologies, incorporating them into design practices and projects.
Qualifications:
● Professional degree in Architecture
● Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience working in architecture
● Experience working on high-end custom residential projects
● Supervise team and work progress during design and approval phases
● Strong design skills and technical aptitude with a passion for high-end custom residential, luxury hospitality, lifestyle retail and bespoke design solutions
● Excellent drafting skills with DD and CD development experience and thorough knowledge of assembling CD and For Construction/ For Fabrication sets.
● Preparing and presenting materials for client and city meetings
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work
● Strong understanding of the building code and accessibility requirements
● Ability to coordinate consultant drawings and systems
● Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, V-Ray, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite. Minimum of 3 years of Revit experience.
