Human Resource Assistant

Job Overview:

The Human Resource Assistant will support the HR department with essential administrative tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of HR operations. The role involves assisting with recruitment, maintaining employee records, and providing general HR support. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and have good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

  • Post job openings on job boards and company website.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
  • Assist in preparing onboarding materials for new hires.

Employee Records:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Assist in updating employee information and documentation.

Payroll Assistance:

  • Support payroll processing by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Handle basic employee inquiries regarding payroll.

MOM Passes Application:

  • Assist in the application and renewal of work passes with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and requirements.

Leave and Roster Management:

  • Process leave applications and maintain leave records.
  • Assist with creating and managing employee rosters.

General HR Support:

  • Provide assistance with HR-related queries from employees.
  • Help organize company events and training sessions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related information.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and procedures.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
