Job Descriptions
1. Verifying the implementation and operation of the quality assurance and control systems, by planning and conducting internal quality audits and inspection activities on head/corporate office and site offices.
2. Verifying that the company quality policy, is fully understood, implemented, operated and maintained.
3. Ensure implementation and continuous improvement in overall quality systems.
4. Ensure that all contractual/company and local authority requirements for Quality, Health Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements are complied with.
5. Review, update and control, the distribution of the Quality Management Procedure, Quality Manual and related procedures for Infrastructure, MEP, Civil and other subcontractors and divisions
6. Generate project specific quality plans for Civil and Infrastructure projects.
7. Ensuring adequate training / awareness of company personnel for quality systems.
8. Prepare where necessary, statistical data which will show quality trends for management review meeting.
9. Ensure Customer Satisfactions are monitored / measured and improvement / corrective actions taken for weak areas
10. Ensure that all non-conformance issues are promptly investigated, corrective and preventive actions are proposed / implemented and are quickly closed out.
11. Ensure that the contractual quality requirements of a project are fully communicated to all key personnel, so that their roles in fulfilling these requirements are fully understood.
12. Ensure that all subcontractors' quality systems and plans are acceptable to the company as applicable to the "Project Contract".
13. Ensure that Subcontractor's / Supplier's quality systems are implemented and effective.
14. Ensure that the calibration of all inspection, measurement and test equipment is conducted according to the defined schedule.
15. Conduct reviews of the approved suppliers and subcontractor's list.
16. Liaise with the clients quality representative to ensure that all potential and actual quality issues are fully resolved.
Job Specifications
1. Degree in Engineering or related disciplines
2. Proven experience as QAQC manager
3. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
5. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
