We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect specializing in IT Infrastructure and Security technologies to join our client in the healthcare industry on a 12-months project.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, planning, and delivery of comprehensive technical solutions from ideation through to execution. Your responsibilities will include crafting detailed IT infrastructure solutions—covering end-user computing, network architecture, and security components—while ensuring alignment with business objectives and architectural principles.
As part of the PMO delivery team, you will drive infrastructure and security roadmap projects, such as Digital Office and Privileged Access Management. Your role will involve collaborating with IT vendors, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to guarantee successful project outcomes. Key duties include designing high and low-level solutions, managing technical risks, and providing leadership and mentorship to project teams.
The Role
- Translate business requirements and objectives for IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security projects into actionable technology solutions.
- Design and architect IT Infrastructure solutions, covering areas such as end-user computing, messaging, authentication services, IDAM/PAM, client-server infrastructure, storage systems, network architecture, and security components, ensuring alignment with guiding principles and reference architecture.
- Develop detailed component specifications and convert them into comprehensive designs for implementation.
- Create and review HLD and LLD to ensure compliance with technology standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to offer technical guidance and support throughout the implementation phase of infrastructure projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential technical challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to fulfill project requirements in the IT Infrastructure domain.
- Produce and maintain all solution architecture and delivery documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, technical specifications, and configurations.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to team members working on IT Infrastructure projects.
- Promote a collaborative and positive team environment, fostering effective communication and problem-solving across projects.
- Establish and enforce quality standards for solution design and delivery. Work with all internal and external teams to drive project tasks to completion and to drive project objectives.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, specializing in designing and implementing IT Infrastructure and IT Security solutions and projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure principles, network architecture, server infrastructure, storage systems, and cybersecurity tools.
- Proficiency in IT Service Management processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Expertise in infrastructure technologies such as end-user computing, authorization and authentication services, virtualization, cloud computing, networking, and security.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, including Microsoft SaaS services, Azure, as well as authorization/authentication/access management tools and infrastructure automation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in developing and maintaining project plans, monitoring progress, and managing budgets and resources.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Servers, Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity, CISA, CISSP, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are a plus.
