Job Description :
- Provide supervision services for all Geotechnical works to ensure that contractors complies with the contract/authorities/agencies' requirements
- Verify the quantity of materials of works delivered to site and works constructed on site
- Supervise all works as directed by OIC/Supervisor
- Review, evaluate and assess monitoring instruments and interprete the results and provide analytical reports for any evaluations
- Supervise and ensure strict quality control in the installation of instrumentation and endorse on the as-built records
- Coordinate with the contractors, AC, QP(D)s, QP(S), instrumentation and monitoring contractors, relevant statutory authorities & agencies
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and prepare necessary site progress and status report
- Adhere to regulations and requirements of stakeholders
- Liaise with stakeholders' supervision team
- Report any accident/incident/near miss on site immediately to OIC
- Conduct inspections for precast elements
Requirements
- Min 10 years of relevant experience as RTO of which 8 years shall be in major construction works in buildings, tunnels, deep excavation and foundation, including works such as installation of monitoring instruments and collation of monitoring data
- Diploma in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical discipline
- Possess a valid RTO certificate
- Possess a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) course
- Conversant with Statutory code and requirements for site supervision , quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report
