Job Description
- Conduct engineering work for project and liaising with the partners, consultants, vendors, contractors and client
- Manage equipment package and ensuring technical compliance from suppliers and vendors.
- Perform design work, include review of civil and structural-related drawings, BQs, construction/erection interfaces, design calculation, design technical specification, estimation and related documents in compliance with tender specification, local statutory regulatory requirement and international’s code of practice
- Incorporating civil and structural design aspects into plant overall systems and also to review these design documents including fire protection and layout to achieve plant integrated and plant functional objectives
- Familiar with structural design and using software for both Concrete and Steel such as STAAD.Pro, SAFE, RAM Connection, and Excel Spreadsheets, structural analysis, work with vendor designer on connection detail required by QPS during installation time if any
- Familiar with drafting activities including review 2D & 3D Design, ACAD & Navisworks etc. and ability to manage/supervise the drafting & drawings preparation using BIM 3D model
- Work closely with designer to update the as build drawing , calculation to QPD review
- Providing technical supports to site during project execution to review the temporary works
- Any other instruction or direction by management
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Civil and Environmental Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in engineering/design, construction or operations
- Familiar with BIM, civil engineering standards employed in Singapore and internationally
- Related working experience in thermal power plant, process industries and construction industry
- Knowledge in engineering, planning and design software
- This is a 2-year contract role
