Role Summary:


The Head of Strategy & Portfolio will be responsible for leading strategic planning processes, overseeing the company’s project portfolio, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. This position plays a crucial role to support the CEO in leading the PMO team, driving the company's growth strategy, optimizing the project portfolio, and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning:

  • Lead the development and execution of long-term strategic plans in alignment with the Rxilient’s objectives and strategic vision.
  • Analyze pharmaceutical market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions and stakeholders’ meetings to foster strategic alignment across cross departments.

Portfolio Management:

  • Oversee the management of Rxilient’s project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain a robust project portfolio management framework, including processes for project selection, prioritization, and performance tracking.
  • Oversee special projects as tasked to PMO team, ensuring timely execution and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between PMO team, senior leaderships and business units.

Alliance Management:

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances that align with Rxilient’s strategic goals and market expansion plans.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring they meet strategic and financial objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful partnership execution and value creation.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Company.


Requirements:


Education and Experience:

  • Degree, MBA, PhD, or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, portfolio management preferable within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic initiatives and managing complex project portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive dynamics.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in conducting financial analysis, due diligence, and business case development.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
