Job Scope
- Support daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, reservation management, and guest relations.
- Prepare staffing/sales reports.
- Assess operations processes to improve profitability.
- Set targets and Key Performance Indicators to improve work performance.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Recording and reporting all food-related complaints to the Chef immediately.
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, maintenance of furnishings and equipment and the proper set up of in the restaurant and connected areas or pantries.
- Assist in coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Promote the restaurant by establishing/maintaining a loyal and regular customer base with personalized customer service.
- Drive promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Manage the beverage counter and maintain beverage quality.
- Oversee stock levels & ordering supplies.
- Troubleshoot POS system.
- Responsible for scheduling staff rosters.
- Ensure team briefings are carried out before each service period.
- Assist in implementing and developing training programs.
- Train and mentor staff in service techniques, product knowledge, and bar operations.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement and uphold restaurant policies and procedures regarding health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Food and Service Management or Business Management
- 4 to 6 years of restaurant management work experiences
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge
- 5.5 work days per week including weekends and public holidays with rotating shift
- Comfortable handling non-halal ingredients and food
