Our fostering department provide quality care and support to foster parents; and connecting them to a wider network of resources. While the reintegration of foster children with their natural families are being worked at, foster families will be equipped to ensure the well-being and holistic development of foster children in a safe, nurturing and caring family environment.
Job Scope
· Provide administrative and logistical support to the Foster Care team.
· Draft administrative, financial reports and compilation of statistical reports for the Foster Care team.
· Plan and coordinate meetings, and providing support for department-organised events, including roadshows and other fostering events
· Plan weekly schedule and allocate drivers to pick up foster children
· Liaise with stakeholders on system access and assist in checking that reports in the system are submitted as planned
· Recording of meeting minutes
· Perform other duties assigned by the Manager, Foster Care.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Business or related discipline.
- At least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in the social service sector
- Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to be adaptable and meet tight deadlines
- Good knowledge in Microsoft software (Word and Excel)
- Strong experience in budget tracking and administrative processes preferred
- Able to occasionally work on non-traditional working hours (e.g. weekends and / or week day evenings).
