Workplace Safety & Health Coordinator
Responsibilities
1) Report to your safety officer and update him on safety violations and lapses
2) Assist WSHO on incident/workplace investigations and ensure and enforce correction action plans
3) Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure that safe work practices are carried out in all work operations and compliant with the WSH Act requirements, standards and practices.
4) Recommend and implement continuous improvements by coordinating safety awareness trainings, programs and initiatives.
5) Perform risk assessments, safety procedures and rectify any gaps to ensure full compliance with the statutory requirements.
6) Preparation and submission of WSH reports, checklists and Permit-to-work in accordance to the statutory requirements and standards.
7) In charge of safety documention and controls
Requirements
1) Minimum 5 years of WSH working experience in building construction industry.
2) Possess Advance Certification in WSH or Safety Coordinator Certificate.
3) Possess Work at Height Assessor Certificate or Managing Work at Height.
4) Team player with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented
5) Must be able to work half day on Saturdays
