Responsibilities
Business Intelligence and reporting management
- Leverage data visualization tools such as Qlik, coupled with advanced Excel proficiency and strong business knowledge to deliver accurate, timely and automated reports and data feeds on production premium, persistency ratios to key Distribution stakeholders (both internal and external).
- Support error-free regulatory reporting requirements of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Timely escalation of critical data issues to management with effective follow up and follow through for interim and long-term resolutions.
- Ensure timely and effective responses to enquiries on reporting from all partners.
Support transformation through identifying opportunities to streamline and automate reporting by harnessing the capabilities of data visualization tools to improve quality, turnaround time of reporting and value-added observations.
Compensation management
- Scope includes commissions and tactical and strategic arrangements such as incentives and conventions.
- Timely escalation of critical commission issues to management with effective follow up and follow through for interim and long-term resolutions.
- Ensure timely and effective responses to enquiries on commission and incentives from all partners.
- Accurate incentive performance tracking and incentive entitlement computation for all strategic firm-level distributor's programs and tactical seller-level campaigns.
- Ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of programs and campaigns.
Collaborate with stakeholders on enhancements on processes and reports to bring value to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities.
Experience
- 2 years of working experience with a focus on management/sales reporting and analysis.
- Experience in life insurance industry (insurance practices, operations, work processes) ideally preferred.
- Knowledge and experience:
- Developing dashboards and automated reports using data visualization tools such as Qlik SaaS & Reporting.
- Familiarity with Oracle SQL for data querying and transformation.
- Experience with data ETL processes.
- Proficiency in Excel, including VBA and Macro skills (a plus).
- Agile mindset, open to new ideas and cope well with changes and tight timelines.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to details.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Education
- Academic: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance/Business/Computer Science/Data Science)
