Human Resources and Admin (Intern) – Up to 3 days weekly – 6 months contract

This is a 6-month contract but there is the possibility of a long-term contract as well. Typically, you only need to work three times a week or more at your preference.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Provide support in addressing employee inquiries and resolving routine HR-related issues.
  • Performance Management:
    • Assist in the coordination and administration of performance review processes.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
    • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and documentation.
  • Payroll:
    • Local and Regional Payroll
    • CPF submission
    • Tax Reporting of employee’s salary to IRAS
  • Standard Operating Procedures and Policies:
    • Development of HR Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Salary Benchmarking:
    • Benchmarking of employee’s salary against market median salaries

Job requirements


· Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Arts and Social Sciences or a related field.

· Strong interest in Human Resources and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong numerical aptitude

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

· A proactive and team-oriented attitude.

· Resourceful, strong initiative, great independence in working in a fast-paced environment.

· Possess a keen analytical mind.

· Foreign students with student visas or residency in Singapore are welcome to appl

· Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and verbal)
