We are seeking a part-time accountant to become a part of our vibrant team. The role requires a commitment of three working days per week.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis
- Monitor key financial metrics and indicators, highlighting areas of concern
- Support group restructuring activities in terms finance, accounting and tax
- Support the Finance team in design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processes
- Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations and strategic initiatives
- Prepare quarterly GST filings
- Ensure payments and banking functions are in compliance with Finance processes and SOP
- Provide support in internal and external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in audit and commercial finance
- Hands-on experience in cost accounting, financial reporting and budget forecasting
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- High level of time management and able to prioritize tasks
