Job Description
- Conduct integration testing to qualify SSD and to evaluate sustaining performance in customers’ systems.
- Carried out test cases defined, gather data and derive basic conclusion from the results.
- Liaises with HQ and oversea counterparts for product evaluation and qualification.
- Travel to customers’ onsite for OSV (on-site verification) and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Support major regional customers on pre-sales and post sales activities
- Hands-on to perform failure analysis (with scope & analyser) and drives correct actions to closure.
- Manage engineering documentation.
- Support technical jobs and inquiries as required.
- Respond to customers or field inquiries.
Skill and Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
- Experience in SSD field application/ system testing and strong knowledge of storage technology and industry (e.g., server OS, PCIe/ SAS interface) is an advantage.
- Ability to articulate technical details and resolve issues with the engineering team to achieve project objectives, and effective working independently and in teams.
- Customer service oriented; strong rapport-building skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skill; Japanese proficiency is a bonus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
