Job Description:
Sunpeak Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer/Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of structural, architectural, and MEP work scopes, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong coordination skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with subcontractors and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with subcontractors on shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Design AutoCAD drawings for different trades, including structural, architectural, and MEP components.
- Arrange material samples and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on construction sites.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed.
Prerequisites:
- Must have completed a construction-related course (e.g., Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture).
- Willingness to work on construction sites and adapt to various working conditions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of construction concepts, technical terms, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with subcontractors and team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
