Responsibilities & Job Descriptions
- Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Manage and deal with site technical & design issues, communicate & liaise with Clients, Architects, Consultants, Developers & key stakeholders of project from beginning to till final completion of project.
- Managing procurement processes, including Tendering, bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection.
- Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress and cost control.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are smooth in operation and completing on time, within budget, good quality and to the satisfaction of clients.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
- Attend all required site project meetings with consultants and clients, including necessary follow-ups and ensuring that project goals and objectives are met for all the projects in the company.
- Setting up site meeting with subcontractors, internal team members, and project related vendors to ensure effective progress of project.
- valuation of Monthly Progressive Claim to Client & reconcile.
- Verify and approve periodical assessment of progress claims of sub-contractors/suppliers with the Project QS/Purchaser till the settlement of final account.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any Civil / Construction Engineering discipline or equivalent
- At least 10 years overall work experience is required.
- At least 7 years relevant project control management work experience is required for this position.
Requirements
- Excellent experience in managing of Construction projects in Oil & Gas industry (especially in Jurong Island) is strongly required.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools (i.e. Primavera, MS Project, Autocad, etc).
- Able to work in project sites and travel for meeting in different venues as required.
- Understand the Drawings and able to take-off quantities and create the budget and monitor the cost throughout the project.
- Liaise with Government Authorities for getting the approvals for proceeding the site activities.
- Other ad-hoc duties required to carry out.
- Able to work for Extended hours.
- Perform to work on Weekends and Public Holidays.
- Class 3 Licence is required.
